'Eolgul', in Korean, is a compound word of 'eol',
which means mind and soul, and 'gul',
which refers to passage.
얼굴이란 순수 우리말로
'얼'은 마음과 영혼이라는 뜻이고,
'굴'은 통로라는 뜻이다.
So eolgul is the appearance that goes through
the passage in search of a soul.
즉, 얼굴이란 말은 영혼을 찾아 통로로 가는
모습이 되는 것이다.
Then we may identify his or her passage
of life by to their appearance.
그렇다면 어떤 모습을 하고 있느냐에 따라
인생길의 결국을 가늠해 볼 수 있지 않을까?
